Aventis Expands Central Asian Footprint: 

Strategic Mission to Turkmenistan & Uzbekistan Yields Key Partnerships and High-Impact Branding

In a breakthrough for its regional expansion strategy, Aventis Graduate School has officially formalised a new academic alliance in Uzbekistan via an official MOU signing and established high-level thought leadership before a global audience in Turkmenistan.

Led by Mr. Francis Quek, Director of the Office of Global Partnership, the regional mission significantly elevated Aventis’s institutional profile in untapped markets while anchoring formal academic alliance.

1. Building Thought Leadership in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan

The first leg of the mission focused on establishing Aventis’s thought leadership within Turkmenistan’s top-tier academic circles at the Oguz Han Engineering and Science University.

  • Keynote Speaker at Global Conference: Mr. Quek was invited as a keynote speaker at a major international university conference, addressing an audience of approximately 400 participants, including over 50 international delegates representing global and regional universities. His presentation, titled “Navigating Disruption: Building Talent, Innovation, Resilience & Relevance,” placed Aventis at the forefront of global educational discourse.
  • High-Level Strategic Alignment: Following the conference, Mr. Quek held a private, 45-minute strategic meeting with the Rector of Oguz Han Engineering and Science University. This exclusive diplomatic channel opened the door for future institutional cooperation and co-developed academic pathways.

2. Formalising Alliances and Product Innovation in Tashkent, Uzbekistan

The mission transitioned to Uzbekistan, focusing on formalizing partnerships and exploring product-market fit at the University of Tashkent for Applied Sciences.

  • Official MOU Execution: In a landmark moment for Aventis’s regional expansion strategy, Mr. Quek met directly with the Rector to officially sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), cementing a formal alliance between the two institutions.
  • Academic Community Engagement: Mr. Quek delivered a keynote address to the university’s academic community and attended their graduation ceremony, reinforcing Aventis’ long-term commitment to the partnership.
  • Advancing Postgraduate Tech Portfolio: Intensive, deep-dive executive discussions were held to finalise a joint delivery model.

University of Puthisastra (UP)

Aventis has signed a milestone Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of Puthisastra, a top private university in Cambodia. Anchored on three strategic pillars—Academic Excellence & Joint Postgraduate Programmes (focusing on AI, data science, and digital transformation), Faculty Development & Capacity Building (such as our 3-day AI-Empowered Educational Leadership Masterclass), and Ecosystem Growth through a co-branded platform in Phnom Penh—this collaboration bridges Singapore and Cambodia to support the regional knowledge economy.

University of Health Sciences (UHS)

Expanding our dedication to specialised talent, Aventis has officially partnered with the University of Health Sciences (UHS) in Cambodia. VIETNAM: Shaping the Future of Global Business Education

At University of Economies Ho Chi Minh City, we explored a landmark collaboration focused on global connectivity and intelligent technologies with the leadership of the College of Business and School of Management.

Aventis Graduate School (AGS) is proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hoa Sen University (HSU) in Ho Chi Minh City. This strategic partnership aims to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange in several key areas, including business sustainability and social sciences. The MOU signifies a significant milestone in the pursuit of academic excellence and the development of innovative educational programs.

AGS and HSU will work closely together to develop joint Master’s degree programs that combine the expertise and resources of both institutions. These programs will offer students a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive knowledge in specialized fields, equipping them with the skills needed to tackle complex global challenges.

Furthermore, the MOU paves the way for the creation of a range of short courses tailored to the needs of students, alumni, and working professionals. Aventis Graduate School extends sincere thanks for the warm welcome at Edunet. Exciting opportunities are emerging for collaborative education initiatives. Aventis, Edunet, and Columbia Southern University (CSU) are exploring a joint MBA program in Singapore, while in Hanoi, a Chinese Strategic Leadership Course, including a Graduate Diploma led by Professor Foo Check Teck, is in consideration, along with potential collaborations with other universities. Edunet also has the chance to offer the Roehampton University London MBA in Vietnam, opening up new educational pathways. We appreciate the hospitality and look forward to future collaborations!
