Aventis Merit Scholarships are awarded to international students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and strong potential for personal and professional growth. Scholarships are granted to qualified applicants based on academic merit, leadership potential, special talents, co-curricular involvement, and other personal qualities that reflect their ability to contribute positively to the Aventis learning community.
Selection Criteria
- Open to applicants of all nationalities.
- Strong academic record, such as a Polytechnic Diploma with a minimum GPA of 3.2, GCE ‘A’ Level with a minimum average grade of B, or equivalent qualification.
- Participation in Co-Curricular Activities (CCA), community activities, leadership roles, or equivalent achievements.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and potential.
- Submission of a scholarship essay of at least 500 words.
- Existing students are not eligible to apply. This is for new applicants only.
Application Submission
Interested applicants are required to submit the following documents:
- Completed Scholarship Application Form.
- Academic certificates and transcripts/results from Secondary to Tertiary level, such as GCE ‘A’ Level, Polytechnic Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
- Co-curricular activity records from Secondary to Tertiary level.
- Certificates of achievement, awards, or relevant accomplishments.
- Testimonial(s) for industrial or professional attachment(s), where applicable.
- Scholarship essay of at least 500 words.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) with comprehensive details, including personal information, educational background, work experience, achievements, and other relevant information.
Application Process
- Existing students are not eligible to apply for any of the scholarship programmes.
- Applicants should email the required documents to shan@aventis.edu.sg.
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview with the Scholarship Committee.
- Interviews may be conducted via video conference or face-to-face, where applicable.
Submission Window
Applicants should submit their scholarship application by the relevant cut-off date based on their intended intake month.

Terms and Conditions
- The award recipient must commence the course in the approved cohort at Aventis Graduate School.
- Undergraduate students who transfer to an on-campus programme will not be eligible for the scholarship.
- Scholarships are awarded based on academic performance, exemplary behaviour, leadership potential, and the overall assessment of the Scholarship Committee.
Scholarship Termination
The selection panel may terminate the scholarship if:
- The award recipient is found to have provided false or misleading information during the application process.
- The award recipient is found guilty of a disciplinary offence as defined in the Student Handbook.
- The award recipient is found to have contravened the law, excluding minor offences such as parking summonses and jaywalking.
