Admission Criteria

An undergraduate degree at grade 2.2 or above in psychology or the social sciences or an arts related subject, plus;

• A completed basic counselling skills training, and;
• Evidence of experience of working in a helping role with vulnerable adults (either employed or voluntary work)
• Applicants from overseas for whom English is not their first language must comply with the University’s minimum requirement for Masters degrees for proficiency in the English language. This is currently British Council IELTS at band 6.5 with no less than 6 in each band of the test.

-At least 21 years old and

-A relevant bachelor’s degree in psychology or the social sciences or an arts related subject; OR

-Non-relevant bachelor’s degree holders may be required to undertake additional modules in order to fulfil the required credit points (The final decision rests with the University)
