Programme Structure

The programme comprises of 4 modules and opportunities for collaborative learning through discussion forums and presentations. The following modules would contribute to the holistic approach in your learning path.

Syllabus

Organisational Behavior

Examines issues surrounding how individuals and groups are organized, how they work and how they behave within the modern workplace.

Marketing and Business Communications

Create, promote and distribute products or services, at a price and quality deemed valuable by the company’s customers by providing a strong and compelling value proposition and long-term relationship with the customers which requires constant monitoring of market, environmental, technological and competitive.

Financial Management

Introduce you to the fundamental issues of financial management and to the quantitative techniques used to address them.

Accounting

Introduces the basic concepts and principles of accounting with an emphasis on the use of such concepts and principles in business decision-making.

Assessment

This is 100% coursework based programme.

The classes would be held at 4 weekend blocks of 2 full day classes.

This programme aims to broaden the perspectives of executives and young managers, who ultimately return to work with powerful new insights of what is possible for themselves as leaders and their organizations. There are many employment opportunities in the private and public sectors for Graduate Diploma graduates.

The programme helps graduates to acquire business “know-how” when moving up to supervisory or managerial positions. They are also a good training route when these graduates switch to functional areas like human resource, marketing, etc.

Academic Progression To MBA

Upon completion, students will be eligible to embark onto the related Masters from our partner Universities, which can be completed within 1 year.

Award

Upon successful completion of the programme, you will be awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration by Aventis Graduate School.

Admission Criteria

Participants are expected to contribute to the class learning experiences in a cohort and peer learning environment. You will be assessed based on experience, aptitude, potential and managerial skills.

At least 21 years old with a Degree in any discipline, or;

A Diploma in any course (minimum of 5 years relevant work experience), or;

Mature Candidates (at least 30 years old) with minimum 8 years of working experience.
